作为成年人，我们对生命安全有更为广泛和透彻的理解。每当我们在电视新闻或现实生活中，看到血淋淋的伤亡事故现场时，除了对死者及其家人的同情、对造成事故违章者的愤恨外，感触最多最深的还是——人的生命竟是如此脆弱。在施工现场作业中：《电力建设安全工作规程》是我们的生命之友，规程的每一条都是用鲜血或生命换来的经验与教训;电力建设《安全健康与环境管理工作规定》明确了各级人员的安全职责;《安全生产法》赋予了从业人员的权利与义务。规程、规定使我们施工现场安全生产有了保障，安全、环境及文明施工工作始终处于受控状态，但违章现象也时有发生。作为安全员，有时候针对某项危险作业提醒施工人员安全注意事项时，经常能听到这样一句话：“安全把住活干掉”，我一听很高兴，心想：看，安全意识多强、对安全生产多重视。但实际施工时，有的作业人员是怎样对待安全工作的呢?——讲起来重要、干起来次要、忙起来根本不要。有时候在现场制止某人没系安全带违章时，他会解释说：我知道高空作业要系好安全带，我刚从那边安全的地方干完活才过来，正准备系呢!这就是讲起来都知道，干起来全忘掉的及少部分施工人员。我不知道违章者在违章时有没有想到这样一句我们经常挂在口头的安全标语：“上有老、下有小，出了事故不得了”;有没有想过家人在等你平安回家团聚。试想，假如你违章发生了死亡事故，给公司造成不良声誉暂且不论，三口之家，孩子没了爸爸，给她幼小的心灵撒下了阴影与创伤;妻子失去了丈夫，家里的顶梁柱没了，留下的只是无尽的痛苦与回忆。我经常会想：如果我们每个人施工时都能严格按规程操作各个环节，各级人员都能履行各自的安全职责，那各类事故肯定与我们无缘。

身为安全员，我的工作需要各级人员的理解与支持;也需要严格履行自己的各条安全职责。安全工作只依靠几个安全员的微薄力量是远远不够的。人人参与，营造良好的安全氛围才是更重要的。在施工现场，除了开展日常的安全管理工作外，主要的工作是在施工一线，随时辨识作业环境中存在的重要危害并采取防范措施。虽然现场施工的各个单项在开工前都有《作业指导书》作为准则，从技术、质量、安全、环境管理措施上都进行了较完善的规划，但实际施工中对安全技术措施、防护设施的落实情况还需要我们去检查、监督和完善。施工现场始终是处于动态的，你上午去检查区域内的各项防护设施是完好的，施工人员没有违章的，也许下午安全设施已经被安全意识不强的人员拆除了，没有及时完善，违章现象也出现了，给安全生产留下了隐患。这时候作为安全员必须立即督促、组织人员完善，消除隐患。有效控制施工现场的安全文明施工。
